My favorite spices at Penzeys are the cake spice and the baking spice. I love adding them to all kinds of baked goods.
I really don’t think I can pick a favorite. I mean, it so depends on my mood and the meal – are we talking early morning or evening? Savory or sweet? I can’t pick and you can’t make me!
Okay, fine. I’ll play. If I had to go by sheer volume of useage, cinnamon wins hands down. And the Super Fancy Spicy Cinnamon from Penzey’s is all I use anymore. I die for that place. Really.

Torn! Penzey’s is so great! I love that they have 752 kinds of cinnamon. My favorite spices: cinnamon, salt, pepper (i know, booooring!), smoked paprika, and cumin. All equally my favorite. I love the smell of cardamom, nutmeg, curry powder. My least favorite spice? Dried thyme. Blech.
I LOVE Red pepper flakes. Penzeys has extra hot ones that I buy by the bag full.
