I think I’ll put the Sur la Table gift card towards a good chef’s knife. My knives are so dull I have to saw through produce. Sad, sad, sad.

My resolution as it is every year is to lose weight. But this time I feel more confident about keeping my resolution.
I’d use the mini cuisinart to grind garlic/ginger pastes for making Indian curries. (My full size food processor can’t handle grinding only very small amounts of ingredients like that, and I don’t have a blender… that works.)
With that gift card, I would be very tempted to buy (yet another– but a different size of) cast iron pan!
My favorite flavor of donut is probably either green tea or brown sugar (both popular flavors at Mister Donut in Japan).

I have the 20-year old version of this sweet little chopper and it is one of the handiest machines I have ever owned. I use it for nuts, veggies, graham crackers for my cheesecakes, salsa, mincing onions and garlic, and peppers ….the uses are endless!
